Nursing Foundation
The Nursing Foundation Lab is an essential component of nursing education that provides students with a controlled and safe environment to develop fundamental nursing skills before applying them in clinical settings. It serves as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling students to gain confidence, competence, and proficiency in performing basic nursing procedures.
The laboratory is equipped with mannequins, models, and medical equipment that simulate real-life patient care situations. Through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised practice, students learn vital nursing skills such as hand hygiene, bed making, patient positioning, vital signs assessment, medication administration, infection control practices, and communication techniques.
